A Fine Antique English Over & Under Tap-Action Flint Pistol by, TWIGG, LONDON, circa. 1780.  Just under 4" round brass .42 cal. turn-off barrels.  All Brass tap-action frame has decorative engraving and maker signed; "TWIGG" on the left side behind barrel selector lever, "LONDON" on the right, top mounted sliding safty, (2) Tower Proofs just in front of steel trigger guard at bottom of breech.  Stock is solid w/Silver oval wrist escutcheon, light scratches and dings from years of handling.  9.75" overall length.  In good working order.
 
This item was used as a PROP. on set of;   Walt Disney's  PIRATES of the CARIBBEAN 2 (DEAD MANS CHEST) & 3 (AT WORLDS END), a Jerry Bruckheimer production.  A Gore Verbinski film.
