An Antique French Double Barrel Flintlock Pistol, circa. 18th century, used by actor JOHNNY DEPP (Capt. Jack Sparrow) in PIRATES II. 7.5" .56 cal. steel side-by-side double barrels w/remnants of GOLD wash at breech. All steel furniture. Both locks are unmarked/unsigned. Stock is solid w/fine high relief carving, normal light scratches and dings from years of handling. 13.5" overall length. In good working order.
This item was used as a PROP. on set of; Walt Disney's PIRATES of the CARIBBEAN 2 (DEAD MANS CHEST) & 3 (AT WORLDS END), a Jerry Bruckheimer production. A Gore Verbinski film.
Scene; Used in PIRATES II "The Coffin Gun" that Capt. Jack shoots the crow pecking at the lid of the coffin. Also the scene where Capt. Jack boards the Black Pearl and takes his frustration out by shooting the monkey on the top deck. Note; This is PROP. (#2.
