ON HOLDA Rare Antique English Brass Barrel Flintlock Blunderbuss Pistol by, JONES, CORNHILL, LONDON, circa. 1740-1760. 9" two-stage brass blunderbuss barrel w/flared muzzel, marked w/(2) Private Proofs, a "CROWN" over "T J"(Thomas Jones), "JONES = CORNHILL = LONDON". Fine brass furniture; grotesque mask butt, and a pierced and engraved side plate. Lock marked; "JONES". 15.5" overall length. Stock is solid w/normal light scratches and dings from years of service. In good working order.
This item was used as a PROP. on set of; Walt Disney's PIRATES of the CARIBBEAN 2 (DEAD MANS CHEST) & 3 (AT WORLDS END), a Jerry Bruckheimer production. A Gore Verbinski film.
