ON HOLDA COMPOSITE/RESTORED(made of period and later parts) British Military Heavy Dragoon Flintlock Horse Pistol. 12" .62 cal. round steel barrel w/(2) Tower Proof marks, engraved w/Regimental marks; "KINGS OWN"(Kings own Heavy Dragoons). Heavy brass regulation furniture. Brass wrist escutcheon engraved; "A" over "5". Lock marked; "CROWN" over "GR"(King George II), "FARMER"(Contracter), and the date "1744". Stock is worn but solid w/some plugged worm holes, scratches and dings from use, has multiple inspector marks. In good working order. 19.25" overall length.
This item was used as a PROP. on set of; Walt Disney's PIRATES of the CARIBBEAN 2 (DEAD MANS CHEST) & 3 (AT WORLDS END), a Jerry Bruckheimer production. A Gore Verbinski film.
