A RARE Antique PAIR of all Brass Scottish Flintlock Belt Pistols, circa. 1790-1820.  6", .47 cal. octagon-to-round-to polyogonal flared muzzel barrels.  Both pistols are unmarked, (typical for the time and form).  Ball triggers, ramshorn-butts, sometimes known as a scroll-butt, probably had it's origins of the fishtail.  A pricker is inserted in a central position between the horns(for cleaning out the vent).  Both pistols are fitted wth the original belt hooks.  Locks are all original and in good working order.  One pistol has a period patch/repair by the trigger.  Original ramrods.  A very Rare pair in good working order.
