A fine and Rare Cased PAIR of French Silver Mounted Flintlock Pistols by; Peyrel  Dumarest , circa. 1750-1770.  7.5" .60 cal. octagon-to-round steal barrels w/silver sights, engraved & Gold over-lay (50% remaining), and marked; "N TORDV".  Round face locks engraved; "Peyrel Dumarest".  Fine Silver high relief furniture includes; trigger guard, ram rod pipes, open work high relief side plates, and wonderful bird head butts w/hallmarks.  Horn tip ram rods.  13.5" overall length.  Fine relief carved stocks are solid w/normal scratches and dings from years of service.  A fine PAIR of French Silver Mounted flintlock pistols that may have seen service in the French & Indian War through The American Revolutionary War !!!!!   In good working order.

Note; Patches of light salt & pepper pitting on steal parts.  Original period box has had old and more recent restoration w/original owner's book plate...

Accessories include; 3-way powder flask, bullet mold, tow, wads/ticking, and balls.
